General Admission Requirements Griffith College

Academic Requirements:

• Foundation Program: Must have completed Year 11 or equivalent. Indian Students: Should have scored at least 50% or above in core subjects.
• Diploma Programs: Must have completed Year 12 or equivalent. Indian Students: A minimum of 50% overall in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or CBSE/ICSE board exams.
• Masters Qualifying Program (MQP): A recognized bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field. Indian Students: Should have completed a 3 or 4-year degree with at least 50% aggregate from a recognized university.

English Language Requirements

Foundation Program

• IELTS 5.5 overall (no band less than 5.0) or equivalent (PTE/TOEFL accepted).
• English Waiver Possible: If you scored 65% or above in English in Year 11 or 12 (CBSE/ICSE/state boards), OR if your medium of instruction was English throughout your schooling, you may be exempt from submitting IELTS.

Diploma Programs

• IELTS 5.5 overall (no band less than 5.0) or equivalent.
• Waiver Option: Same as Foundation – 65% or higher in English in Year 12 or valid MOI (Medium of Instruction letter in English).

Master’s Qualifying Program

• IELTS 6.0 overall (no band less than 5.5).
• Waiver Possible: If your bachelor’s degree was completed in English (with at least 65% in English), and a MOI letter is provided, IELTS may be waived.
