Western Sydney University: Unlock Your Future with World-Class Education
The University of Western Sydney (UWS), founded in 1989, emerged from two historic institutions, Hawkesbury Agricultural College (1891) and Nepean College of Advanced Education. Initially a federated system, UWS combined multiple campuses, each with autonomy over their programs and operations. In 2001, UWS transitioned into a single multi-campus university, with six campuses including Bankstown, Hawkesbury, and Parramatta, to streamline operations and enhance its collective strengths.
Western Sydney University offers two intakes for international students: February/March, July.
